Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Can you imagine not being able to find any water color paper needed for your fantastic project? My students need paint and paper to start their next project.
I teach in a Title 1 school where all students receive free and reduce lunches.
The parents do not have money to send their children with the needed supplies. The community is low income and most have extended families living with them. These children need extra assistance and encouragement to learn skills.
My Project
My students will be taking art classes. They desperately need watercolor paper, markers and paint as we do not have access to any in the classroom. The supplies I have been purchasing have been limited because I have 35-38 students in six classes. I need a sponsor to help me get these needed supplies.
Your generous donation will help the school students learn skills with detail, observations, and learning apply techniques with different materials.
The students will be able to apply what they learn to other classes in better presentations, view art more than enrichment and apply to their daily lives. Students will be excited to know they have the materials needed to learn concepts from contemporary to modern time explicitly.
