This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Exploring, hands-on activities, centers, and fun is the way I imagine teaching and learning in a Pre-kinder classroom. But what happens when students don't have the materials to meet these needs.

Most of my students come from a low-income households and deserve to come to a classroom that is able to meet their needs.

They are special because they come to school every day with the willingness to learn. They show a determination that most adults don't have and they bring a joy to the class that would melt your heart.

My Project

In any classroom learning should be a fun experience and what 4 or 5 year old do you know what doesn't love puppets or playing make believe, with your help this will make their learning experience a fun and everlasting one.

My goal is to make learning fun and memorable this year and these puppets are guaranteed to do just that.

I'm sure this will make Pre-k the place to be for the students this school year! Can you imagine using a puppet to learn the letter and letter chant of the week, what a great way to learn and remember your letters. Seeing the Cat puppet with the letter Cc on it and hearing the sound that it makes...
