Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students work on real hands-on video, audio, and video production projects. Most of them choose these classes and some of them that did not end up loving the opportunity to apply many concepts (sometimes from other classes) to real solutions on situations.
My students coming from different socio-economic backgrounds and ethnic groups but, when they are in my class they act like one group The VAT group (Video Audio Theater group).
My students work on real projects with people from the industry.
My Project
My students will pick up a topic that was covered over the year and make a slide presentation using "google slide". Some of the topics can be special effects, editing, lighting, folly sound. etc. They will make a slide presentation following the instructions on the lesson about creating a slide presentation named "All about a topic".
When the students are done with their slide presentation they will present their presentation to the rest of the class, ending with a Q&A.
There will be an option to create a project out of the presentation. By groups in the class students will have the opportunity to work on a project. Because the majority of the student made a presentation about audio production and the production of loops, a "loop maker machine" seems to be one of the best choices to purchase for the class, specially considering that it will improve the Audio Production Curriculum which the majority of my students are showing a lot of interest.
