Mrs. Anderson from Indianapolis IN is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need headphones in order for me to personalize their learning. Students in my class struggle with having supplies for school. This will help their learning tremendously.

"Good Morning Mrs. A" is the greeting I hear every morning from my students. Along with hugs and high fives, it is important they say hello because it sets the tone for their day. By greeting me they know I am here for them. I am here to care for them, teach them, and guide them along the way.
My school is 95% free and reduced.
My class is 95% African American children. The students in my class often don't have their basic needs met before they come to school. Clean socks, breakfast, and lotion are some of the things I take care of before we start our learning day. I thrive on seeing their smiling faces and the eagerness they have to learn.
My students need personalized learning on a daily basis. Each student has a learning path on the computer. To hear their own learning path is vital in allowing them to complete their task on the computer.
Listening comprehension is a key skill in learning.
Without the headphones, students will not be able to hear their personalized path. The computer programs are designed to help students with their struggling areas. Some examples of this are long vowels, telling time, subtraction with two digit numbers. Also, students who are achieving above level can continue to push their learning beyond first grade material. Please help my students with the headphones.
