My Students

Our classroom, once a joyful space in the lovely borough of Brooklyn, NY has since been separated in a very dramatic way.

Not only is New York City the epicenter of this outbreak, but it is the home of all of my students and their families and this book will encourage families to acknowledge and talk about problems we face big and small.

Many have relocated due to the stress the city has put on the residents and the stay at home restrictions. In some parts of the country, teachers are finding ways to hand deliver materials to students. However, this is not an option for me or my students.

My Project

Hi there! This project is one to not only support but encourage my students and their families to reflect on the months past of remote learning and the difficulties of the uncertain global pandemic times.

This project will encourage social emotional support and guidance for the students and families of my classroom, to not only acknowledge the problem but also to reflect on the roses and thorns.

These books will be mailed to my students while we are separated during this remote learning end of the school year. Thanks so much!
