Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our third grade classroom is located in a large, low-income community.
We have a range of unique talents, abilities, challenges and characteristics that all blend together in a way that works for us.
As an educator, I strive to see that students get what they need out of our learning to achieve their potential while they are here.
Together with the students, I have the desire to create an environment that strengthens their excitement to learn and encourages them to discover a life-long love of reading. I love showing my students that learning can be a blast and they understand it will open doors for them in life!
My Project
This vacuum will help my students stay focused while learning common core curriculum in the areas of Reading, Math, Writing, Science and Social Studies.
We will have a clean work space and the freedom to spread around our room as our lesson directs us to.
Whether the class is working independently, in pairs or small groups we will have the ability to focus on our work and not bits of paper to pick during our learning.
Distractions happen all the time, but with this vacuum, we can make sure there is at least one less thing to distract us from growing our knowledge!
