Our school has about 2,000 students currently enrolled. We'd still like to increase the number in our chorus program by at least half next school year, but in order to do that, we need to increase visibility in our school and the community. The chorus students currently enrolled are filled with life and are passionate about music. It is obvious they have had quality training as well as a rich tradition of music learning.
Please help us increase our enrollment by donating to our projects throughout the year thereby increasing our visibility on campus and throughout the community!
My Project
We've moved online until May 15th. Please help me encourage my students to keep singing through purchasing a capella music on JW Pepper that I can teach students through zoom. After the music is learned, I'd like to record those musical selections through the a capella and smule apps. I've been trying to engage students through Google Classroom, Instagram and Zoom lessons, but they are not getting enough singing practice. Please help me continue with the choral tradition through the purchase and use of these apps.
I think singing and engaging with a virtual community during this time gives students an outlet that isn't available without access to materials like these.
