My Students

My students are engaged, eager, achieving learners who have the potential to be tomorrow's innovators. With a wide variety of socioeconomic and cultural differences, we try to meet every learner at their level. This year, we are stretching ourselves to include experiential learning outside of the classroom and to introduce opportunities not typically found within the walls of a typical school. Help us "grow" our agricultural literacy

Our students of today will be the leaders of tomorrow.

It is essential we prepare them for a future in which they will not only be successful but have a meaningful impact.

My Project

What was once rural farmland is now a host to nutritional deserts. Many students do not realize the impact they have on the world or where their food comes from. With this project we will address several aspects of 'healing' our world-including a focus on the honeybee, how to prevent pollution, and the ways in which we can create a more viable, inclusive world together as 21st century learners.

The materials in this project will underscore our Agriculture Literacy curriculum and provide numerous resources for teachers and students alike.

In past years we have built a greenhouse and raised a chicken coop-please help us "grow" this initiative!
