This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students of the LCHS Choral Department are simply amazing due to the dedication, commitment, loyalty, & respect they show on a daily basis for an art they love. Over the years, the students in this program work diligently and strive to achieve greatness no matter the obstacles we face. They make magic happen with the resources we have without complaint. I am truly blessed with the greatest students on this planet! They are hardworking, optimistic, and most importantly sincere!

My Project

The LCHS Choral Department has a beautiful story to tell.

With your help, my students will be able to continue to develop and cultivate musical, social, behavioral, and academic skills which will help them as they move through their educational journey. Having a new piano, will assist us in learning our musical literature and develop musicianship more accurately and consistently. This particular piano will also provide us the opportunity to use the minimal funding we have for other materials needed to maintain a successful and active program for the students.
