My students need iPad cases, new headphones, a splitter, and velcro dots to make the most of our new iPads!

Technological literacy is becoming increasingly important in a digital society. My students have limited opportunities for technology, and we recently received some classroom iPads. But 6-year-olds are tough and iPads aren't!
My students are really hard working sweethearts who have a lot of challenges in their lives outside of school.
Our iPads are helping us differentiate instruction and improve our digital literacy. My students LOVE when their iPad time comes up in their schedule, and many of them will pass up recess for extra iPad time. How many 6-years-olds do you know that willingly pass up recess for extra learning time?!
We'll use these materials to protect our iPads and improve our work stations. The iPad cases we were given with our iPads aren't really the most appropriate for 6 and 7-year-old kids. We're a little too rough and tough. These new grip cases will help keep our iPads more protected from our accidental drops and kicks. The new headphones will fit our heads better than adult-sized headphones, and the splitter will let a small group share one iPad if necessary. The velcro dots will help my students complete work station activities in response to what they do at the iPad station.
This project will help us use our iPads more effectively.
They will be better protected so I will have to say "Our iPads are expensive and fragile!" less often, and with a splitter more kids will be able to use the iPads at once. We'll also be able to have more activities that stem from our iPad learning. This project will really help us integrate our iPads into our entire day, instead of just being used at certain times.
