My students need tablets that will help them access technology so that they will be able to achieve.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Since I teach in a low-income school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences; experiences that will help them become lifelong learners, creators, problem solvers, leaders, and world changers.
My 1st grade students are cheerful, inquisitive, eager to learn, intelligent, and full of love.
They're the reason I enjoy my job and strive to be the best teacher I can be. My students keep me on my feet with their never ending questions, their wanting to know why, and their endless energy.
My students know that with hard work and dedication they can accomplish whatever dreams and aspirations they have- whether it is small or big! My students realize that in this sometimes unjust world, their voices can be heard and change will and can happen.
With these tablets students will be able to better access technology in our classroom and their daily lives. The tablets will be used to access mandated sites as well as additional resources where students can practice skills and concepts. Students will also be able to have more resources in Spanish especially in reading.
There is a push for incorporating technology in the classroom, but unfortunately there is a lack of technology in our classroom.
With the tablets my students will have the exposure to technology and know how it can be safely used on a daily basis.
