My Students

I teach in an urban district at a magnet school with over 400 students, Kindergarten to 8th grade. My school is special because we draw our student population from all over the city, not just from the immediate neighborhood. We are a very diverse school representing many socioeconomic backgrounds.

My Kindergarten students are such a fun, eager, and creative group of kiddos!

We love to read, write, and explore our wonderful world!

My students need a variety of materials that will allow them to practice and actively engage in their own learning.

My Project

These magnetic, handwriting dry erase boards would be a huge help for my students! A class set of dry erase boards would allow my entire class to practice their handwriting and word-writing at the same time instead of only a few children at a time. The boards would also allow my students to maneuver magnetic manipulatives as they problem solve during Math and Science activities.

Learning to write correctly is crucial for young students.

They need writing materials that are hands-on, kid-friendly, and age-appropriate.

These magnetic, handwriting dry erase boards would be such a wonderful addition to our creative classroom!
