Help me give my students a chance to "Scratch the Surface" by having a Microsoft Surface Go 10 to use as they become Innovators and Creators of their own learning.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our Title 1 School is full of diverse students. All of our students are economically disadvantaged and live in poverty, but they have not let their circumstances define who they are. Although they face challenges every day, they come to school with learning in mind and are determined to meet the high expectations set by their teachers.
Teachers are constantly challenged on how to meet the diverse learning needs, but by integrating Computational Thinking and STEM activities into the classroom culture will allow students to become better problem solvers, foster risk-taking to learn new and innovative skills that will help them beyond the classroom.
My Project
The Microsoft brand is a powerful learning solution. The Microsoft Surface Go for Education provides the same powerful learning opportunity. This device is easy to use and will allow learning to happen wherever our student's minds will take them. The laptops we use are not the easiest to transport, so having a portable device will provide a much needed mobile option for my classroom and the projects we are working on.
The Surface Go will be used for creating digital projects, researching information, or exploring their creativity by coding online using Scratch.
The Surface Go and Keyboard allows simple navigation to online resources for any project. It is a much-needed option for any classroom teacher!
