This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
During our virtual learning experience, we were able to take advantage of the resources at home and get into the kitchen. My students were very eager and loved being hands on, creating healthy dishes and beverages. As the excitement of being in the kitchen creating their own dishes has rolled over to in-person learning, we want to continue providing our students with those kitchen experiences. Using the materials listed, my students will safely learn basic cooking skills and create healthy dishes and smoothies. The blenders and cups will provide my students with the tools they need to create those healthy beverages. The aprons and chef hats will be used to keep the mess to a minimum when partaking in these activities.
