My Students

Ours is a small community of about 10,000 people. This small community is full of kind and caring people, and I can say, without a doubt, that my students embody that attitude. They are inventive, have a thirst for knowledge, and have a deep love of experiencing new things.

My students' abilities range all the way from beginning to advanced, and yet they all leave at the end of the day feeling as if they have succeeded and that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to.

My goal, as their teacher, is to give them the best experiences possible and to continue to foster the belief that they can succeed. With your help, I truly believe that they will continue to believe this in every aspect of their education.

My Project

The past few years I have an an influx of ADD and ADHD students entering my classroom. My classroom is one of the few that tries to provide a different seating option for those who struggle focusing on day to day activities. I have some bright students who just need help focusing.

Sometimes something as simple as a desk band to swing their legs on as they do their work or a wobble seat to keep them balancing as their brain goes through a math problem are all it takes to make a difference .

My goal is to give every child a chance to learn and grow no matter what it takes.
