My students desperately need iPad wall chargers and charge and sync cables for their iPads.

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with all sorts of challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I try my best to make sure that school is a place where they can learn and feel safe.
Simply put, my kids are awesome.
They like to move; they love math and love lots of positive attention. Many of them are being raised in single-parent households or by grandparents and receive a free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. These things may prevent them from getting ahead early in life and, unfortunately, may not provide them with the life experiences many of us see as "normal." From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom they become "my babies." I can't control what happens once they leave me, but I can certainly make sure that their time with me is meaningful.
W. Elementary is a one-to-one school which means every child has the privilege and access to their own iPad. Students do not need to share with other students which makes learning fun for all of us.
One of the biggest issues we are currently facing is that fact that we do not have enough, working, chargers for all of the iPads that we have in our classrooms.
Every homeroom has technology ambassadors that are responsible for collecting all of the iPads at the end of each day and making sure that they are probably placed in our iPad charging stations. These amazing students have noticed that the chargers are tearing and ripping causing the iPads not to charge overnight.
Our students need charge and sync cables and wall chargers to keep their iPads charged on a daily basis so that we can continue to incorporate as much technology into their lessons and lives daily. Please consider helping us with this great need.
