We're building our “future ready” library …. Yeah!!!
Help me give my students Sphero BOLT’s. It's compatible with our Chromebooks. This student-centered learning devices will promote critical thinking to design simple programs to make these robots perform tasks.
Students at our school are like all kids. They are eager to learn. We encourage Respect, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion through acts of kindness. They work on this daily.
Students at our school are striving to perform well, grow academically, and be good citizens.
They are a diverse group but share the commonality of living in poverty. We are a Title One school with 98% students receiving free breakfast and lunch. The homes of many of students are economically deficient.
Since I am the librarian, I teach all the students in the school.
My Project
Students should be excited to learn. I remember being excited to learn, still am. Do you remember that as a child and even now? These little robotic guys are so much fun they can be mistaken for toys. This is a product that I would like to add to the media program to encourage exploration, technology and group activities.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student critical thinking skills but provide an opportunity for them to learn basic programming and you will ultimately assist in increasing their future ready skills.
Transforming teaching … Offering new and creative learning technology that promotes critical thinking and cooperation among our students is my goal. This will be a new resource for my students.
