My students are a class of gifted students.
I have approximately forty students in second grade all the way up to the sixth grade. Our school is located in Mississippi. The school is low-income school with very limited resources. We could use all the help we can get!
My Project
We have nature all around us, but we are very deprived of getting to see insects go through a complete life cycle. I am asking for some live specimen of caterpillars, ladybug larvae, praying mantis, and an ant farm. We would like to get to be up close and personal with these insects. With this project funded, my students will get to see first hand the awesome miracle of nature. My students will learn how fragile life is and how important each living creature is.
