My Students

My busy first graders LOVE to learn by completing hands-on activities.

I have the wonderful job of teaching 19 students in the middle Georgia area.

The students that I teach come from low income families and attend a Title 1 school in middle Georgia. My students are energetic, full of excitement and love to take learning into their own hands!

My Project

Many of my students are experiencing science concepts for the first time and they get so excited when they are learning something new! Having magnets would be a wonderful way to supplement what I have and provide meaningful, hands-on centers that my students could go to and explore what magnets can do.

Students need to play, explore and think on their own.

Having these magnets would enable me to provide that experience for my students. I am already dreaming of the science centers I can create and how much learning my students will do while at those centers! Having these resources would leave a long lasting impression on my students and it will stay with them for a long time!
