My Students

I work with some of the best and brightest kids Arkansas has to offer. They are charismatic, funny, hard working, and willing to push whatever button they need to push to get things done.

Our students, however, reside in one of the lower socioeconomic areas of central Arkansas and tend to have financial difficulties when it comes to things such as food and supplies.

That's where DonorsChoose.org comes in. Our students need supplies to start and complete the school year without having to worry about having what they need for school.

My Project

Having various items like lotion and deodorant always available to my students will make a huge impact in their lives, both inside and outside the classroom. I am requesting items like lotion, deodorant, and hand sanitizer to help battle the winter blues before they start. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Lower income areas are often hit hardest during cold and flu season however, students in low income areas often can't miss school or work and will come to school sick.

I am asking for these items for my students to help ease the winter blues and to keep them from falling behind in classes.

A project such as this one will help students know and understand the impact of health and hygiene. They can't learn if they are sick or out with a cold.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
