My Students

This year I am excited to be the teacher of 28 enthusiastic, inquisitive, and technology savvy second graders. My students come from very diverse backgrounds and their learning styles reflect this diversity. The students in our school have a variety of digital resources available to them, but our grade level team must share one cart of Chromebooks for the entire grade. I am so lucky to have a new group of learners that are excited about their education and want to challenge themselves every day.

My Project

My students have recently begun enjoying access to technology programs in both math and reading. Many of the components require students to listen to what is being said/explained. With the use of personal headphones, my students will be able to fully benefit from these programs and increase their academic achievements.

The use of personal headphones will allow students to work at their own individualized pace.

This will help all students to be successful and make tremendous growth in their studies. Not only will students enjoy the programs, but they will be able to hear properly modeled speech throughout the activities.
