My students are such an inspiration. This year my class is made up of students that come from a variety of different backgrounds. They love to learn and create things at school. Some of my students come from rough homes that are not able to provide them with books and educational support. Even with this obstacle, my students push through and strive for greatness.
The students in my class are unstoppable, they see a problem and work their hardest to overcome it.
I truly believe they deserve the best and need your help in order to get the materials they need.
My Project
I made this project for all of my well loved books in my classroom. My third graders have grown to love the Dog Man books and the Eerie Elementary books. These books have been held and loved by many students but it is time to replace some of them. I am so excited that my students have learned to love these books.
Learning to love reading is one of my biggest goals for my students.
In order to do this my students need high interest books at their fingertips. These book titles have a lower reading level that is just right for most of my students. My struggling readers become very motivated when they realise that they too can read chapter books. I am so excited to see waiting lists and eager students to check out these books from me. Over the years the books have been loved so much that some of them are very worn. This project would help me replace so of the books and freshen up my library. I truly believe my student would be so excited to receive these new books.
