My Students

My students are members of a vibrant community in Portland, Oregon. They are passionate, creative and enthusiastic learners. Many of our students live with poverty and/or trauma which can make some parts of the school experience especially tough.

The transistion from an elementary student to a middle school student is both fun and challenging.

Lockers, passing periods and different teachers throughout the day are big parts of that shift. My students are taking their first steps towards independence as learners. I want to help my students plan for and expect success!

My Project

My students are transitioning into middle school. Gone are the days of cramming everything into a desk and hoping they can find it later. They need your help to have tools for success as they begin their middle school journey.

Your gift helps students develop life skills they need like organization and attention to detail.

A binder with dividers like the ones you can help provide will make losing assignments a thing of the past. It will help organize parent communication and give kids a sense of ownership over their learning. It can be hard to "keep it together" in middle school. You can help students do just that!
