Technology is driving education in school and my students deserve to have the best technology at their fingertips when they come to school. Our students need to be able to compete with other cultures and what better way than to make sure that they are educationally savvy in all aspects.
My students are thrill seekers, they are always interested in the latest and very intrigued by the greatest of things.
Although, they may come from backgrounds that are not the most promising, they have a fire inside of them to be achievers and productive citizens of their communities. They may attend a school that has been deemed a school of high poverty, but their brains are not brains of poverty and they deserve the best of education and technology.
My Project
According to an article, iPads are the technology that will increase student achievement. What teacher would not want for their students' achievement to increase? iPads are expected to get students college and career ready; and those are the kinds of citizens I want teaching my children, treating me at the doctor's office and running our country. Apple has the most advanced apps at the "touch" of a download button, these apps are expected to increase achievement giving instant feedback for students.
Apple has some of the best educational software that is downloadable.
