My students need stability ball chairs and balancing pods to allow for more comfortable seating to allow moving and support for core strength while working to master their mathematical skills.
The best of the best, that is the only way to describe my students! While diverse with many different learning styles, each of my scholars has a common goal of being successful. Some of my students will only receive the help they need to reach their goal at school, leaving it up to me to make sure that I use every avenue possible to ensure they understand each lesson and are able to analyze questions based on real-world application. Though Hurricane Harvey may have changed a lot of lives, my students' love of learning and their eagerness to be their best has not been altered.
I am always looking to enhance the learning opportunities in my classroom for the various types of learners that I have each year.
While Hurricane Harvey may have taken a lot from a lot of families, my students' willingness to work hard and learn has not changed.
My Project
Through flexible seating, my scholars have a chance to get comfortable and solely focus on their learning that is taking place in the classroom. My students could strongly benefit from having stability ball chairs and balancing pods in the classroom to allow for fidgeting, comfort, and support.
The traditional classroom atmosphere is quickly disappearing because times have changed tremendously, and so many teachers are implementing flexible seating.
My students become engaged in their learning while being able to have educational peer talk without focusing on comfort.
While we are working hard to master our math facts and understand how to successfully perform the math operations, I want my students to worry less about being still and feel free to move if that is what suits them best, especially the kinesthetic learners.
