First and foremost, we are a family! We encourage each other to meet goals and to be successful in and out of the class.
My students are uniquely different in their backgrounds and in their talents.
Each one of them has specials gifts to bring into our classroom environment. They are able to shine the most when these gifts are encouraged to grow.
They truly inspire me to find ways to engage them and to create meaningful lessons they will remember.
They are risk-takers, dreamers, and achievers.
My Project
These items will allow my students to have a choice in their learning and work in a welcoming, "home-like" environment. This will also allow for flexible seating within our classroom.
My hope is to offer different seating arrangements that students can choose to sit at during the day.
I want to create an environment where students feel safe and want to come to everyday. These items will give us meeting places to learn at and also individualized or group work spaces. This will assisst with their behavior and help them to stay engaged. Students will be in charge of their learning, therefore making it more meaningful to them.
The table will allow groups of students to learn and collaborate in a family style setting.
The coffee table will give students the opportunity to read and work in the library.
The carpets will also allow for other flexible seating arrangements throughout the classroom.
