This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Hi! This project is for my amazing 3rd graders! This year my students will be self-contained, so they will be spending the majority of their day in our classroom. The items will allow them to have a cozy environment to learn in. The calming items will allow them to have a calming corner when they just need a moment to regroup. The tissues are for health and wellness. The laminating sheets and organizers will help us keep our things nice. The classroom supplies are to enhance our space and learning. The ducks will be for incentives to pick our “lucky ducks.” All of these items will be used to better our classroom environment.

I am a firm believer in making our classroom environment feel like a safe learning space for all students.

I believe that children can focus and reach their highest potential when the learning space is warm, safe, and organized. My students are strong, resilient, and future leaders. These resources will be a great addition to our classroom!
