This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The Riley Store students range from Pre-K to eighth grade. They are amazingly hard working, bright, fun, kind, and and have the whole world to conquer. The students at my school have a high level of trauma, and many come from poverty. In spite of this adversity, our students continue to persevere and work hard towards positive outcomes.
The Riley Store is a positive incentive store in our school that we use to reward students.
Students use their Dojo points as money to buy things in the store. Having high quality items in the store will serve as an excellent incentive for our students to continue to work their hardest, and reach their highest potential.
