Welcome to the Modernized Classroom: A Flexible Seating Transformation.
My students need yoga balls, Wobble Seats, stools, and floor chairs reliable flexible seating options in order to thrive in the classroom and develop their love for learning.
I am blessed to be teaching the most wonderful group of 4th graders. These kids come from various backgrounds, from different family structures to socioeconomic status. They come to me with varying academic, behavior, and emotional needs. I have students with ADHD, autism, behavior needs, and everything in between.
These students are highly motivated, intelligent, wonderful kids who want a great place to learn and thrive.
Our classroom is a place where we can be a community and a family, developing our passion for learning.
My Project
My students need a classroom that is conducive to their learning styles. The days of the traditional desk and chair classrooms are over! My students are each unique individuals who have their own special talents and quirks. They love to learn, but our current classroom layout poses a challenge to the way they want, and need, to learn.
We need reliable and diverse flexible seating options to help our focus, cognitive abilities, memory retention, and motivation to learn.
Through the use of yoga balls, Wobble Seats, bar stools, and floor chairs, my students will be engulfed in a classroom that is inviting and truly meant for them. We are a family, therefore I want them to want to be at school, where they can develop and enhance their passion for learning.
