My Project

We have recently started using a house system in our 5th grade classrooms. This was inspired by Ron Clark, a fabulous educator who founded his own academy in Atlanta, Georgia. Our students have been begging us to start a school store so they can purchase shirts, pullovers, socks, and bracelets to represent their houses.

With this merchandise, it will give these students a sense of unity and belonging when they can see all their other house members ROCKING their house gear!

Our students are beyond excited at the thought of being able to wear their house name and show their pride for their house! We want to make that dream come to life! All money made from the school store will be put into their 5th grade fund that helps pay for snacks, rewards, and field trip costs.
