Help me give my students a new, welcoming, educational, kid-friendly classroom environment upon return to in-person learning.

Albert Einstein quotes, "The mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size." Therefore, my goal is to provide my diverse learners with meaningful projects and instructional resources to address the disabilities that impede their learning such as attention-deficit, dyslexia, social-emotional, and autism. Their past experiences of failure in school have outweighed their successes as they also deal with socioeconomic ills within their communities, making the burden to learn more difficult.
Nevertheless, in spite of their circumstances, my students are inquisitive, creative, hopeful and eager to come to school- their safe haven; therefore, they know that their teacher holds their minds dear to her heart and will continue to discover innovative ways to challenge them to think and learn!
Aligning each student to the appropriate instructional resources, my students can grasp concepts through a combination of visual stimuli and usage of hands-on materials as well as respond to intervention through interactive, arts-infused, project-based, hands-on learning activities. With time and investment in exploring how they learn, my students will leave my classroom with a newfound growth mindset!
This August, I welcomed new students at a new school with a new (virtual) environment. The beginning of the new school year, it was proposed that digital learning protocols would only be temporary and school would resume weeks later. Given the second wave of the pandemic, school will now reopen for "in-person" learning in January.
Given schools were closed and teachers were not allowed in the building, upon a quick visit, I learned that my classroom consists only a few desk and chairs.
I will have to build my classroom from scratch. As a primary, Diverse Learner Teacher of students ages 3-9, I know that an inviting and warm classroom enhances not only the aptitude of students, but their attitude towards learning as well.
Per the COVID-19 crisis, my students are currently learning from home and some have experienced illness, deaths and quarantines within their families coupled with other ills associated with living in low social-economic communities.
Thus, I would love to have my student return to a bright, cheerful learning "in-person" environment with furniture and a carpet tonsure their classroom is welcoming and educationally fun as the carpet will provide a cozy place to sit as well as address their phonic deficits. My students are deserving a comfortable learning space to learn, grow and discover. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
