Help me give my students modern, battery-operated scales to measure chemicals in the classroom. These are easier to transport as we conduct labs in the classroom to allow for maximum social distancing.

My Students

My students attend a rural, county school which has returned to the traditional setting. The students are driven and eager to learn as much as they can while facing challenges in their day-to-day life.

The students are very self-motivated and want to do well, and they are provided with a multitude of courses that allow them to expand their knowledge in a variety of ways.

They are truly an incredible group of students!

My Project

Chemistry requires the use of certain amounts of chemicals in order to successfully complete labs. The purchase of this equipment is essential to offering a time efficient way for students to be successful in the lab. These balances do not require outlets and can be transported easily.

The balances will be used by students for quantitative chemical analysis and preparation.

Students will also be able to precisely prepare solutions which can be used in experiments or assessed for accuracy by their teacher. These balances can be used for many years to come and will provide countless children with an opportunity to further their hands-on learning experiences.
