My energetic first grade students absolutely love learning!! They come in excited for what's to come and leave ready to share something new. And this joy is represented when they take chances, participate in activities, and find solutions.
These children gleefully try new tasks and engage themselves in challenges to grow academically and personally.
They inspire me to be more creative and enthusiastic about learning and forming relationships, and I am fortunate to have the best job in the world!!
My Project
My students need six wobble chairs so fidgety children can stay on-task. I want to set up my classroom to be more student-centered where I meet the needs of children who need to move while working. Wobble chairs are the best for that!!
I want to improve and increase student attention and focus, and ultimately student achievement.
To personalize children's learning, I want to create a classroom environment that caters to different learning styles. One learning style is to be active while attending to competing tasks. Wobble chairs are excellent for ADHD children because they encourage continuous movement while simultaneously working. These chairs benefit the ADHD student and are a treat for all learners!!
