My Students

I teach at a Title I school where 75% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Our area was hit hard by Hurricane Matthew, keeping my class out of school for over a month. Our community lost a lot, but the most being time away from the classroom and learning.

My students are the sweetest group of fourth graders that come to school with a lot of energy each day.

They work so hard every day to achieve greatness!

My Project

My class is amazing and one of a kind. There are no other words to describe them. I have students this year who love school, but bring LOTS and LOTS of energy with them everyday. which sometimes makes it hard for them to stay in their seats and concentrate. Some of them struggle to control this energy during the day, which sometimes makes it hard for them to stay in their seats and concentrate.

These wobble chairs and bouncy bands will allow them to stay seated, but get their wiggles out at the same time.

This will keep them more focused on their learning in the classroom.
