My Students

My students are interested and concerned about global climate change and the effects it has worldwide.

My students are engaged, passionate and motivated people.

They like to study real issues and take on real projects that produce real results. They care about the environment, animals and one another. They are concerned that global climate change is not getting enough attention and they want to do something about it.

My Project

Using the requested books my students will learn the basics of weather, air and water. They will learn about our climate and atmosphere and what is happening with global climate change. They will research topics related to the increase in temperature such as shrinking ice caps, pine bark beetle and more extreme weather.

My students do their best with hands-on, experiential, real-world projects that have an independent option.

This project is something they've been asking for and have strong connections to.
