Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Texas, there is an EOC (End of Course) exam for United States History which is a requirement for graduation.

I would like to be able to provide incentives for my students to study and prepare for the mock state exam.

Students who achieve mastery on the exam will earn a t-shirt with a history saying of their choice, "Wear History Out", that we will make with a cricut machine. For students who achieve a grade level (Meets) score, they will receive a reusable water bottle with the label, "A Thirst for Knowledge - U.S. History." Students that earn an approaching score will receive a fidget spinner. I hope that these incentives will give them extra motivation to study and try their very best on the EOC exam and get them one step closer to graduation and fulfilling their goals.
