This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach an awesome group of students in my self contained special education class, we work hard and love to learn new things.
My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities, they are all special needs students and all fall in a very low socioeconomic group.
With all that said, they are awesome and really want to work and learn.
I am requesting some healthy snacks for my students for before they go home at the end of the day. I am very grateful for all your wonderful support.
My Project
I have a classroom full students from the ages of 11-14, they are 11-14 which means they are always hungry.
My students have a big gap between lunch time and going home, I like to provide my students a snack before they get on the bus to go home.
They items in this project are different snacks to provide them such as goldfish crackers, animal crackers, cookies, capri sun. In addition, I am requesting some hand sanitizer, napkins, and clorox wipes to keep things clean before and after snack. Finally, we need some bins to store our snacks. We like to stay organized.
