My students come to school eager to soak up knowledge. They enjoy working together and love to read with a partner. They help each other read daily in the classroom. They really take care of each other to make sure everyone is on task.
My students want a Dr. Seuss library of books so we can celebrate Dr. Seuss day in March.
They really like reading the two Dr. Seuss books in our class library. They enjoy the rhyming and colorful illustrations.
My Project
My goal for this project is to give my students access to books by Dr. Seuss. I want to celebrate his birthday in March by having a Dr. Seuss day in my classroom. This project will help encourage my students to take notice of specific authors and illustrators. They will discuss writing styles and illustrations.
My students will learn about the incredible Dr. Seuss through reading his books and class discussions about his lifetime.
This project will get us started on our path to Seussville. I hope to keep adding to our class library until we have all of his books.
