We Will Learn & Grow - Even During a Pandemic

Help me give my students stress-management and calm-down tools. Updated books to improve selection in our classroom library and hopefully increase reading enjoyment. Math manipulatives to help students make connections with hands-on learning.

My Students

My students enter my classroom every morning with smiles on their faces, ready to learn! In our classroom we are kind, we are patient, we are present, and we are learners. We have a classroom chant, "I can do it, yes I can! If anyone can do it, I can!"

We crave hands-on learning!

My students learn best when they can see, touch, feel, and create. They are mighty builders and active learners when given the opportunity to use the appropriate tools.

We are excited to get our hands working and minds growing. Our school motto is, "Try, fail, and try again." My students feel safe to explore and try new methods. When we succeed-we learn. When we fail-we learn. Every opportunity is an opportunity to grow.

My Project

The resources requested will help my students grow in many ways!

The stress tools will help as they take breaks to calm their minds and bodies so they can get back to the business of learning.

The Math Manipulatives will help make concrete connections to abstract math concepts. They can "see" numbers and move counters and solidify their learning.

The books will increase our reading options and, hopefully, increase our love of reading, not to mention increasing our ability.

We love to learn and these items will help us grow!
