Help me give my students the math flashcards and math manipulatives they need to improve their multiplication skills and understanding of this vital concept!

My Project

My sixth-grade students are all diverse learners with great challenges in math. Many of my kids come from sometimes difficult situations in the Edgewater community of Chicago's north side. Math can be a roadblock for many students, especially if they have fallen behind or have major gaps in their earlier math learning, as all of these students do.

My goal is to create an exciting, hands-on math class where the students find joy and the support they need to grow as math masters!

The act of adding manipulatives for the hands-on learners, and flashcards to have for individual students to take home and review will help improve their math skills. Adding in competitive math games to make learning multiplication facts fun is how I plan to gain these needed skills for my students.

My sixth graders this year and for many years to come, will grow and become proficient in their math multiplication skills with this project. Please consider helping my students- they will love having these resources and grow into multiplication masters!
