The students and coaches work together on and off the mat to build community and work ethic. Just as iron sharpens iron, this team drills and encourages each other throughout the year.
These student-athletes work hard in the classroom and on the mat.
My Project
Keeping the mat room clean and germ-free is no small task. Every time the room is used, the mats need to be mopped to prevent microbes from spreading. Our wrestlers will be battling skin ailments rather than wrestling if we do not diligently sanitize our practice space.
Without the support of our school's athletic budget, we must assume this financial responsibility as a team.
It is a non-negotiable for this sport! We are requesting a litter box to use as a shoe-cleaning station, sprayers and a mop bucket for dispensing cleaning solution and new mat tape.
