Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

We are crazy about American History! I teach 5th grade in a high-need community. My students love to read and are passionate about American History!

My 5th graders love chapter books. Several of them are very interested in learning more about American History. We need historical fiction books to enhance our classroom library.

We need these books to help us continue to find our passion for reading as we study American History. I will use these books to help supplement our study of American History while feeding their passion for books.

With these books, we can continue to show students the power in education as they develop a life-long love of reading!
