Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am blessed to work in a school that is diverse in students and that has an amazing new curriculum to use, The Creative Curriculum. Instead of teaching by themes, that are 2 weeks long, we work on units of studies that integrate all aspects of learning into one. It is amazing to see these young learners get to learn through play and investigations.

We need many different books for our different units of studies especially books that show diversity as well.

here are many information nonfiction books, that use real life pictures and examples for the students. As well as many fiction stories for the students to use their imagination to understand all elements of water. There are also some books that incorporate water aspects with such hard topics as families, friends and feelings. Help my get these books for my unit of study, Water, to help these little learners expand their learning.
