This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are excited to learn math and enjoy using technology to help them become better in this area.

I have 30 students in my classroom in West Philadelphia.

My students are eager first graders who are excited to learn and share with others what they have learned. I want to make school exciting for them and would love to incorporate more technology into my classroom and what better way to do so by using these Tablets.

My Project

My students will be able to use these materials in my classroom to help increase their Math skills. We currently have two computers in our room, one of which doesn't even work. The other is slowly starting to freeze which makes it very difficult for my students to use this First in Math program. I think it would be great to have some new technology in the room. It is more dependable and will help my students enjoy using this Math program. It also can be a great tool to use as a reward for good behavior throughout the day.

Donations to this project will improve my classroom because it will allow students to feel more confident about their math skills.

It will help them in the future as they go into the different grades and become familiar with these types of questions. It will help change my students' lives for the better because it will also give them the chance to understand how to use technology.
