This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Hello, My students are wonderful! They have a love for learning. They are very easily excited about new new things in the classroom.

They love technology and good old fashioned outdoor play as well.

My students love to read! This excites me beyond words.

My students are a community of learners. We all share school supplies to ensure that every child is able to participate in our arts and craft activity. They are very energetic and lovable.

I love my babies. We love our end of the day story time, where we all get to share our life experiences and retell how we would make the stories different. This gives me a chance to view their world and how they think. I love the interaction.

My Project

These items will greatly benefit my students in science, math, and reading. In science, the microscope will be gray when we do nature walks and we can come back to look at bugs, leaves, and worms. In first grade, we are learning CVC words and in independent practice, the puzzles will be great. The headphones are needed for our listening center that I’m hoping to have for the school year. They can also be used in our school lab to help with hearing the computer and focusing more on the lesson and less on other computers. They will be a great asset to the class.
