My students need to explore with Robots to create opportunities for problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking. They also need plastic cabinets to store all the parts adequately to increase the Robot's lifespan.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are caring, kind, and nurturing to one another. I teach in a high poverty school in Chicago. My students love exploring the world around them! They are builders, creators, scientists, and inventors!
My students are active and are eager to learn using a hands-on STEM approach that is applicable to the real world and enhances their learning beyond the four walls of our classroom.
My students are successful when provided with unique, high quality learning experiences. When given the opportunity to use their imagination and connect learning to fun activities, my students are constantly challenging themselves to think outside of the box.
My Project
Imagine a world where Robots lead your learning path. What would you see along the way? Would you scream? Would you laugh? Would you cry? I know my students would be jumping up and down with excitement! The amazement in their eyes will help to spark interest in their own learning adventure! I envision Robots impacting learning by fostering opportunities for my students to learn through STEM!
I want my students to be "all in" on the learning process!
I want it to be student lead at times and to give them the freedom to choose their own path of exploration!
My students need a Wonder Workshop Pack, a WeDo 2.0 Core Set, Sphero the Robot, an Ozobot Bit, and two plastic cabinets to store all pieces properly. Working together in teams to build these Robots and make them come to life is going to help develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills! Providing a way to keep all the pieces stored properly with the use of these cabinets will help to keep our classroom organized and allow for a longer Robot lifespan.
My students are going to look forward in coming to school and be excited about learning! I know Robots are just going to rock their learning world!
