This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Do you remember how much fun it was to have your own materials in class? Do you remember being engaged in learning with the teacher and writing on the chalkboard? Help us to become scientists!
My students are full of energy and are ready to learn everyday!
They are a group of young and vibrant eight-year-olds learning to become better readers and writers. They attend a Title 1 school in North Carolina. They need an opportunity to have the best education and resources to learn!
My Project
Having the requested Scholastic magazines in a third grade class is essential! Having interesting materials to use in my classroom will make lessons run more smoothly and students being more engaged in lessons taught. Being that my students are young readers this gives them the opportunity to learn more about the world around them. My students are just beginning their academic life. Learning to read and write better is crucial to my third grade students.
Having both items will make my students excited about learning and give them a chance to engage in more meaningful instruction.
My students will have an opportunity to show me what they know and become more confident in showing me and other students how smart they are! But, most of all it will be fun for everyone!
