We Want 5's on the AP Calculus BC Exam!
My students need 8 iPad mini tablets to have access to calculus visuals that will help them gain a better understanding of the calculus topics.
Calculus is more than notes, textbooks, and practice problems. It is alive and all around us! I want to show my students the visual components of calculus.
Our future mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and doctors are in my AP Calculus BC class right now.
These students are not only some of the most intelligent students I have ever taught, they are some of the most intelligent people I have ever met!
With the use of eight iPad mini tablets, I plan to push my class to their potential by using more technology in my classroom.
There are so many amazing apps that can demonstrate the real-world connections that calculus has. I also plan to use the iPads as a tool to encourage my students to teach and show others their knowledge.
This added resource can make a huge difference for so many of my students who might not normally get to use this type of technology.
For those who do have an iPad at home, I can teach them how they can use it for more than just entertainment purposes. It will also prepare my students for future collegiate level technology expectations.
