Hello and welcome to our 6th-8th Reading/Writing Lab. I have two Reading/Writing Intervention classes with students who are eager to learn! Our students are some of the most hardworking scholars I have worked with. They deserve nothing but the best and I want to be able to provide nothing but the best for them!
They come from different backgrounds and require individualized support and interventions in order to be successful in their educational career.
They are enthusiastic about learning but need the proper materials in order to do so.
My Project
The document camera that I am requesting for my 6th-8th graders will be used in order to implement the L.A. Intervention Project. This project is designed to support students' phonological awareness, comprehension, and decoding. My students are currently reading below grade level and with the proper supports, co-teaching model and the L.A. Intervention project, we are 100% sure that our students will grow their reading and comprehension abilities.
The donations to this project will support our co-teaching model and small group interventions in our Reading/Writing intervention class.
We will be utilizing this document camera in order to be able to model for our students' strategies in the project and guide them step by step on completing specific tasks assigned to them.
My co-teacher and I have been working hard in being able to implement this project in our class and are certain that this will help our scholars grow even more than they have already done so!
