Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Since I have been at my current school, I have seen the passion for music grow within my students. I am excited that they love to sing, play instruments, and become better musicians. All of my students from Pre-K to 4th grade always support and encourage each other while we are learning new things and performing.
My students are becoming fantastic performers and can't wait to share what they have learned with others.
We love sharing our musicality with teachers, friends, and family.
My Project
My students love learning musical concepts on the xylophones that we have. However, it is uncomfortable for many of my students to sit bent over the xylophones on the floor.
These stands will help students be more comfortable while learning, and will also help us use better technique.
Having stands will make it easier for my students to share instruments, move into groups with their instruments, and get out and put away instruments. My students will be so exciting to use the stands and they will be so thankful to be able to comfortably stand while learning with the xylophones!
